Transformation that creates results you can see.

  • The United Way of the Flint Hills takes seriously its role of investing your money in our communities to improve people's lives.  To do this, we must look at the way we operate and ensure that we are addressing the most critical issues facing the Flint Hills.

  • To identify the most critical needs, the United Way of the Flint Hills is working with the Healthier Community Alliance to conduct a comprehensive Community Needs Assessment.  Once the Assessment is complete, it will allow us to address what statistics -- and you -- have told us is important to creating stronger communities.
  • The United Way of the Flint Hills has also begun what we call a transformation.  The first step is to move to allocate funds after the annual campaign to effectively invest funds in member agencies.  We then begin to ask member agencies to identify community outcomes that have resulted from the investment.
  • Through outcome measurements, we can see the results in an effort to improve people's lives.  It is not just providing a wide range of human services, but how have we made lives better because of the funds you have invested int he United Way of the Flint Hills.
