Volunteer Connections is a volunteer coordination program providing services to Charlevoix and Emmet Counties. Volunteers can search through an online database of volunteer opportunities as listed by numerous non-profit organizations to provide a one-stop destination when searching for places to volunteer. Volunteers can search based on preferences and skills and create a volunteer profile to be informed about volunteer opportunities of interest.
Mission of Volunteer Connections
The intent of Volunteer Connections is to serve the volunteer needs of surrounding Counties, by providing additional resources for volunteer recruitment, recognition, and management.
Purpose of Volunteer Connections The purpose of Volunteer Connections is to promote and increase volunteerism in our two county area. Volunteer Connections will assist organizations in maximizing their utilization of volunteers, while assisting community members in finding meaningful volunteer opportunities.
